I don't think Nintendo does anything to stop their just for kids image. Of course they don't only go only after kids but I really think they try with their portables. Kids love portables, so do parents when they quiet down the kids. The fact that so many games aimed at children are made says a lot. They keep making money so I can't imagine they will stop.
