ever got scammed for a game vent it out here

i bought sunset riders from some dutch bitch ass boy who never sent the game. i mailed him. called him. i even went to the police just for the sake of that i will get the motherfucker. the thing is the games wasnt that expensive but im just sick and tired of scammers. call me lucky i only got scammed 2 times in my life on internet
but ofcourse with paypal u get money back and the other person is fucked

but this time i payed with bank account. which always works fine. but this time it didnt. but the police doiesnt want to start a research for just a game/ bitches should help me but whatever man.

i really fantasuisze finding his home and fucking him up real bad/ i really wanted that game and i waited for freaking 3 months

I find it difficult to read all lower-case lettering.

When you collect only Mint CIB (or better), like myself, it's hard not to get scammed from time to time. I've calculated that about 90% of the games I've bought have been in stated condition (that's "very good" to "Sealed"). The other 10% have been an utter disgrace (I'm talking Grade D or worse). I've decided to "accept it" and just deal with it. I sell back the shit I don't want and move on.

There was this time where I had purchased Mortal Kombat II for Snes from some guy on ebay, mind you this was before the Paypal days,
then when I received it it was without manual, even though the auction claimed it was with manual.
When I contacted the seller he pretty much said "oh, Must have had it in another game box then, and that's sold already"
(took like 5 years before I finally managed to get my hands on the manual, had to buy a collection of manuals and crap just cause it was in there)

Despite my complaints he refused to take back the game or even refund me a portion of the money,
so I opened up an ebay dispute, which.. really didn't do anything, I doubt ebay even looked at it.

and then there was the time where I had bought this Jazz drive from some guy on a dutch auction site,
the stupid fucker taped two boxes together and send it like that, when I received it it was only one box with torn tape on the sides.
So I contact the guy and he's like "oh.. must have gotten separated" then he broke off contact.
luckily I got the Jazz drive, but all the other stuff like Jazz disks and papers all disappeared.

There was more crap but I'm not gonna think about it, just makes me angry.

Also Semmie, what's the ebay seller's name? I wonder if I ever purchased stuff from him.

I have not heard of a single account in which an e-Bay dispute for something like this has worked. I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time on this stuff. It's more torment on yourself that you could save moving the fuck on.

You want to "get" a guy for not sending you Sunset Riders? You need to chill out a bit. Sounds like this was some under the table transaction online, as in not through eBay or any other secure site. If it was, you'd simply get your money back and move on.

I've been cheated a few times, not sure if any of it was intentional. One time I came across a really cheap complete copy of Shining Wisdom on Half and bought it, the seller never sent it, refunded me and never gave an explanation. Although it was "holy shit, I can get a lot more than what I just sold this for!", so they need not explain.

For some stupid reason I bought Viva Pinata off of eBay once and they sent it just the case, no game. No response from them, eBay refunded me. Then one time a guy sent me a Chinese bootleg DS game and I told him I knew it was counterfeit and he about crapped his pants before he could refund me. I ended up selling that fake turd copy in a yard sale, but was kind enough to note how it was fake and that it would not work on anything past DS Lite to the person that actually bought it. They were fine with that.

Dealing out in the wild west of the net is a different story, and I wouldn't recommend it. At the very least, make sure the site has a feedback system for it's buy/sell/trade community.

Criticom. Brought this game for $3.00 at a Record store in Auburn, WA back in '98. It didn't sink in how much of a waste this was until about 2 years later. I get pissed off thinking about how stupid I was for purchasing this piece of shit. The store clerk just quoted prices not value.

I purchased a InterAct Memory Card Plus cartridge for my Saturn in 2009. It broke down after 4 uses. $15 bucks wasted. For nothing.

Purchased slaughter sport on ebay for .99 + 2.52 shipping because it said complete in great condition... I get a cart only former rental with silver stickers on the label :mad:

I tell him I'll file an eBay complaint.
He says he'll give me back 0.99.
I say I'm keeping the game so I can light it on fire because its such a pile of shit.
He thinks that's funny and refunds me my $3+ dollars.

Honestly I didn't care too much about the $3+ but I did get it... and I have yet to light slaughter sport on fire but I might because not only is it a shitty game but its in even shittier condition.

Not my stories but I remember someone sold a member here a Sega nomad and when he got it, it was missing the D-pad.

Then there was that guy who was selling a sega genesis that could play 32x games but had such an AWFUL paint job, this was one of the best things I've witness on this site. :)

Yes, that Neptune was legendary. I've been pretty lucky, I've only fallen victim a couple of times.

IRL scam: I worked with a guy way back when the N64 was current, and he really wanted Zelda OoT which had just come out that week, but it was like 80 bucks and he couldn't afford it. I wanted the game, but didn't want to spend that much. He told me he would trade me a bunch of other 64 games for it, including Goldeneye, MK4, WWF Attitude (I was into wrestling then) and some others. I went and bought the game. He comes into work and gives me everything but Goldeneye, and without that one the other games were worth nowhere near $80. As the days go by I keep asking, and finally he confesses that Goldeneye was his brother's, and he wouldn't give it up. Motherfucker, all the games I got sucked balls.

I think the only time I got screwed online was on a forum sale. I bought some stuff including Knuckles Chaotix and Sonic Jam and it all arrived fine. I decided I wanted some of his Lynx games too, paid him $20 (much less than the first order btw) and never heard from him again. I still wonder what happened, as I doubt he was a scammer or he would have taken my money on the first order.
