It's like a broken record. Someone will not listen to facts and science and continue to discount them because they don't agree with them.

The world known medical examiner (for the defense) debunked the theory that Martin was on the bottom and debunked any other explanation except for Martin being on top. The condition of the clothes, the hole in the sweatshirt and the wound in the chest explained it.

The jury spoke, period. The first juror who was interview (in shadow) explained why the verdict was reached.

Somehow I see the circumstances in this case being replicated sooner or later again, and I believe the people involved shouldn't be classified by their race.
We need to see this as: would you want to live in a world where you as a citizen are POWERLESS to prevent someone whom you reasonably perceive as a threat to the rights and liberties of others?
Do your self a favor and take race out of this, first of all that's where they get you everytime,
bad guys come in all shapes and colors, and the good guys need the protection of the law to be able to bring to light the suspicion of any character.
Think of how many crimes are committed in your community, if we were really about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, we should all have no fear of proving our just reason to be at liberty.
Was Martin at his liberty when he was while he was being surveilled by Zimmerman, I don't know, but there's no reason it ever had to go this far.

This is not the 60's, there is no good reason for Martin to have the belief that a creepy cracker is out to get him for no reason.
Please, racism is alive today, but only because some people like to keep it going.
Someone put these thoughts into this kids head, that non-black people make black people's life the way it is.
This may have been true decades ago, but not today.
So in effect, the "warnings" taught to young black children may give them an unfair bias in their life, when no such teaching is necessary now.
If Zimmerman was on a mission to "kill" blacks he would have just went to the hood and did it.
He was protecting his friends and wanted to make sure no unnecessary activities were occurring that night.
If he just thought martin was even trespassing, then the outcome could have been the same.
No he felt he didn't have to prove anything, which was his right, but why didn't he use his brain instead of his fists.
I know how Miami is though, I was born there, and the way it goes down there is, if you aren't black, you don't go to black sections, unless you want to be robbed, beat, or killed.
This I learned FROM my black friends. And if you get lost and end up in the hood, good honest black folks will quickly and sternly give you the fastest direction out of there.

A fight ensued between them and Zimmerman fatally shot Martin who was unarmed. If this is correct, then how did Zimmerman not murder Martin? I could see self defense if Martin trespassed onto Zimmerman's property and instigated a fight, but from what I've read, Zimmerman drove up to Martin and exited his vehicle to confront him. Based on that information, in my opinion Zimmerman is guilty of at least manslaughter.

Because Zimmerman was part of the neighborhood watch, and there had been several burgleries in the neighborhood. The person was acting suspicious, making it his DUTY to check him out. From all evidence, Martin attacked Zimmerman, and he had the wounds to prove it. If Martin had simply GONE HOME (which was less than a hundred yards away) instead of wandering around in the rain acting suspicious, he'd still be alive.

Zimmerman should not have been charged with anything because he technically didn't break any laws.. It is that simple. I don't agree with his actions but I do agree with upholding the law and not falsely charging someone because we don't like that law. If you don't like the outcome you should focus on changing the law.

These celebrities are no where to be found each and every day when black kids are killed in L.A., Chicago, Detroit, etc.., It's disgraceful they use this incident as a way to get attention. If this case didn't receive the media coverage the Stevie Wonder's and Foxx's of the world wouldn't give a damn about the boy.

JCU, my overall point was, I didn't want the outcome of the boy to be dead. It's your opinion he got what he deserved and Zimmerman did nothing wrong as self defense, but he did admit to killing him (manslaughter) and he should be held accountable for that. If I killed your son and admitted it, even in self defense, do you want me to be not accountable for anything ? Maybe in federal court he will, maybe not.

There would be no reason for you to be held accountable if you prove self defense. People are held accountable when they do something wrong.

Good luck with any federal charges since the the F.B.I. already investigated and favored Zimmerman. That is a wrench in the machine.

And no it isn't my opinion he did nothing wrong as self defense because the jury came to that decision and it is now a fact. If it wasn't a fact (self defense) he would have been convicted.
