90's band Fastball has a new single and music video

...And I directed it.

Known the guys in this band for years and after my foray into filmmaking started they gave me a shot at making their latest music video. I'd like to share it with those interested!

Totally awesome man. How is Fastball? It's been a long time.

I like the music video. Quirky and fun, not to bad. Nicely edited as well. The song vaguely reminds me of some Franz Ferdinand songs (music, not vocals).

As for Fastball, I'll be brutally honest. I don't like "The Way", it got overplayed here and to this day I skip the song when I stream radio.

I prefer "Fire Escape".

Nice job. It's a great video. So many videos try to be clever and/or visually interesting. This one manages to do both, and the humor complements the song nicely.

Honestly I had forgotten about Fastball, but I used to like them a lot back in the day. This will spur me to go back and look up their music. Are they planning a new album?

Fastball is one of my favorite bands out of the Nineties. I used to memorize their lyrics and sing along to them when I was in middle school :) It's a trip that you're privileged enough to work with some of my childhood heroes! :)

The video is well done, but if I'm being honest it's not my style. I don't want to be dismissive, clearly it is professional work, I'm just not much of a fan of the 'kitschy humor' angle. I checked out your YouTube channel, though, and the 'junkie hands' song by Miles Zuniga is not only an amazing song, has a really solid video to go with it. The scene 'set ups', angles, lighting tricks and cinematography in general are really beautiful and complement the feeling of the music perfectly. I'm really impressed to be on the same goofy retro-gaming forum with someone who crafts video productions this impressive :P

Thanks! From what I know, yes. They are currently in the writing stages on a new album.
