Heavy Rain - One of the best games I've ever played and the ending is truly shocking
God Of War Ascension - Best garphics this generation
The Last of Us- Just amazing
Killzone 2 - Great FPS
Uncharted 2 - Just one of the best action games you can buy
ICO/SOC HD - This is how a HD remakes should be done
Motorstorm Pacific - A racer that fun to play
Valkyria Chronicles - Nice game and the best cartoon visuals you'll ever see.
Reistance 3 - Like Half Life 2 its amazing
Hotshot Golf WT - The best Golf game money can buy
It's not out until February, but when it is... Earth Defense Force 2025.
If you've never played an EDF game before they're budget titles and an acquired taste maybe but I think anybody who likes old school arcade-ish games will love the shit out of it.
Instead of just God of War 3, why not just get the GoW Anthology (or whatever it's called), which includes all five games in the series up to that point?

I'll chip in with the Sly Cooper series of games (The Sly Collection HD, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time).
Really top-notch platformers.
Warhawk is a pretty fun online game. There's also Sonic CD 2011 port on PSN. NBA Jam is fun too.
