I've got the physical copy with the soundtrack as well. It's a fun old-school shooter without any bells and whistles. As someone who has never really been able to get into bullet hell I like it.

I'm probably not accurate with the 9:16 to 4:3 aspect ratios.
Basically, whatever they did with the PC Engine Raiden, is how I'd like it.
I understand its a lost cause now though. But just maybe, some DLC patch could work...

I didn't want to open a can of worms about this subject yet again, but it's just that these games, especially the newer ones, aren't "meant" to be played in a 4:3 aspect ratio.
No, its no problem that you're rolling your eyes at me, you just have to give your reason for doing so.
Yes I understand Raiden is supposed to be played in 9:16.
But I'd prefer to play it distorted like the PC Engine and PS1 Raidens.
Maybe just give that game window, a 100 more pixels of horizontal resolution.
