Ehh, nothing wrong with sigs.. and yes, while I'm sure we're all masters in the world of free internet porn, it's still nice to have a hot lingerie-clad Japanese chick periodically appear in video game-related threads.
Anyways.. how's the emulation on the Sega Ages releases?
On the Saturn, perfect. Not sure if it is emulation or ported to the system from the ground up.
However in Shenmue on the Dreamcast, Space Harrier's music sounds wrong.
To each his own.Quote:

I never played the arcade game so I can't compare it to that.
I've beaten the arcade game. The Saturn has much better composite video than the Genesis, so that right there would lead the Saturn version to look sharper. The 32X version is also letterboxed, has a fair amount of slowdown and does not have transparent shadows. Check out the comparison shots below. Note that I cropped out the letterboxing of the 32X version.

PS - That chick IS a standard Japanese nudie model. :)
Too bad I can't find any of her DVD's. :( But surprisingly, her smile is what attracted me to her.
An-E-way:
"Space Harrier 2" is so incredibly choppy it's not even funny.
I'm sure the Master System & TG-16 aren't raving beauties, but it is hard to play SH2 after a round of SH on 32X or Saturn.
I'm so glad I didn't buy Space Harrier 2 as my first game for the Genesis right when it came out. I was still under the impression that the machine could do scaling based on all of the different magazine articles. I would have committed suicide or been disappointed or something.
My TG-16 Space Harrier manual calls the stage 1 boss Skayra, and damn, seeing so many Skayras makes it impossible to deny how goofy its face looks. That delighted, surprised expression is priceless.
Space Harrier II is a choppy mess, but it becomes playable once your vision adjusts/you force yourself to tolerate it. It's certainly a finer game than the Space Harrier II Tiger LCD handheld that broke your movement down into a choice of six places on the screen you could be.
Any LCD game based on *REAL* video games were crap. I had a Mega Man 3 LCD game and all it did was make me long for an actual, portable version of the game.
erm not much but i just had to say that shes true beuty, idd her smile is something i really like ,her mouth is something special(i hope).Quote:

Good to see I'm not the only one who buys almost, if not, every version of a game.
I never noticed the 32X version slowing down, it's an incredibly smooth game overall.Quote:

edit: also, I find the game easier with a D-Pad, as Harrier doesn't auto-centre that way. Makes it a lot easier to aim.
