Its odd they allow video game stuff on Etsy.
This is just sad. Yet again, another case of lazy assitis.

Why is it sad? He is being honest and asking a fair price.
The condition of those precious beauties is what's sad. Couldn't the seller at least TRY to clean them :shame::shame:
For 50 bones I wouldn't bother either. If model ones were going for more I would tempted to buy them and flip them. However cleaning those things makes me crazy. I take them apart, soak and scrub them, use an air compressor. That damn grate on the side is the worst. These two took forever and even then they still look fairly filthy under close inspection.

Yeah I suppose I should put my listing up in teh auction block section. Its just seems to be such a touchy subject around here. I had box of Model ones I had collected over the years. Now I need to work on the Box Snes consoles I have.
I second that! I'd like some HDG Model 1's to modify for s-video, stereo sound, region switch and the like.
Acceptable? Is there an eBay Item Condition that says Holy Shit Snacks! Why even sell that thing? Just bury it properly and remember it for how it used to be.

No amount of cleaning will resuscitate that thing. Just bury it properly whilst playing taps.
And the madness continues....

I don't even think people would pay 10 dollars for a used PSone, much less one that doesn't work and looks like that.
Probably this guy's playstation.

What's funny is that same exact Sega Genesis Arcade Power Stick listed in the first post of this stread is STILL on eBay from the same exact seller, almost a year later. :fail:
He is using broken systems

I like the Justifier lamp. The Power Glove one is probably the funnest though.
most of my consoles used to be ( For parts )
The point of this thread exactly! :)
These consoles and their games are getting older every day so why not try to preserve every single one of them instead of turning it into a piece of tacky furniture? Eh, my opinion may be different from others, but it just irks me slightly.
What are you sega jesus?
Let it be clear, Destroying a retro console will land you a cozy spot in HELL. Merely failing to salvage a broken or abandoned one is a sin.
Seldom used?? More like seldom cleaned!

Maybe some people think dust serves as evidence of being retro or lightly used. :p Yeah, I know. Who am I kidding?
Meh..Who needs picture hygiene?
I am not overly OCD about the pictures I put on ebay but I have been known to take new sets of pictures because of a small smear only visible in camera light or a spec of dirt somewhere on the prsitine white background that is the top of my chest freezer.
It's amazing how one little spec of dirt can ruin a nice close up. Video games are one thing but something like camera equipment it really doesn't help the sale.
