So towards the end of the year we'll be putting out a Game Sack episode about unreleased prototypes and homebrews. What do you guys recommend we check out? I ahve quite a bit of stuff already but I want to make sure we have the coolest stuff. I'm sure you guys will have some great suggestions. Demos count, too. Just as long as I can run it on a real NTSC Genesis. :)
Beyond Zero Tolerance
Though you'll probably say its ugly compared to Zero Tolerance, because somehow the designers thought that a lot
of purple walls = alien world. though its still an interesting and sadly unfinished game.
I would love to see a gamesack episode based around the unreleased Mega Drive games such as Time Trax, Socks the Cat rocks the hill etc (although i doubt we will see that one in the near future)Quote:

I could modify Glass Breaker MD to be playable in 60Hz, I would have to move the HUD a bit and possibly readjust time counting. Time to dig up some source code :P
How do you run them on the hardware?
I would imagine Ninja Gaiden(Japan) would be a major one, It Came From the Desert(did release on Amiga, PC, and Turbo CD), Jelly Boy(Europe, did release on Game Boy and SNES) , Jim Power: The Arcade Game, ResQ, Sonic Crackers/Sonic and Crackers(the concept became Knuckles Chaotix), Wacky Races (Europe), Waterwolrd(can only imagine the quality, but who knows?), and Zombie High.
Scrabble is also an option, if you'd be up for it.
Definitely Stefs work in progress starfox md and his bad apple video, also the one guys almost done wolfenstein - all 3 no fx chips. Hyper Metal Sonic ?
Get drunk and have a snortish laugh with Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy hack or whatever it was called. :D

And Mortal Kombat Mythology (+ 5 / Sub-Zero) is Pirate unlicensed thing, not homebrew.
Hmmm, maybe "prototype of original version" of Shinobi 3? You sure will love those kamikaze ninjas.
Earlier prororypes of Sonic 2 also would be an interesting ones to show/watch.

Actually I'm watching Game Sack (yes, every episode) and can send you the full version of Sacred Line Genesis for the episode.
However, I got the impression that you don't like games like that at all (and prefer more action-oriented) so it would be pointless to send it, but maybe I'm wrong.

Edit: (Demoscene) demos would deserve their own episode as well, it's a pretty separate scene traditionally. There are sooo many awesome Genny, SMS and NES demos out there... It'd be hard to show only a sequence when they pretty much are entire short films.
Now, Tech demos on the other hand are pretty much homebrew games, just usually proof of concept releases that don't aim to be a fully playable game.
Chilly's Wolf/Spear 3D 32X for sure, along with Yeti 3D though he never intended to turn that into a game I think. It's too bad he didn't release a demo of his Doom 32X source port before aliens abducted him.
Aside from that, canceled Dreamcast and Saturn games are at the top of my list of wishes. Especially Chakan for Dreamcast, Tomb Raider II for Saturn and even Fighting Force (Streets of Rage) for Saturn. Sonic Adventure and Shenmue on Saturn would really interest me as well, but all we have of those is video or Sonic Xtreme. Oh, and Flying Nightmares for Sega CD if it had a proto released, I don't think it has.
