Anyone else pick this up?
Got it yesterday. Been playing it all day today. Awesome game. The definitely upgraded the engine (battle and otherwise). It's more complex than the Ys 3/6 engine (3 remake). Multiple characters to control, upgrading weapons is now huge leap over using 'ravel' or such. So far I'm loving the game. I was a bit disappointed in purchasing the vita, but this has since changed my mind. Glad I got one (OLED screen is incredible).
Got mine coming in Saturday. I don't have a Vita yet.
If Sony would bring the Vita TV to Western countries with DualShock 4 and full library compatibility, then I would be first in line.
This game might be the thing that gets me to buy a Vita. It's a killer app IMO. I might have to wait until after the Christmas (spending) season though. Glad to hear it's a good game. I had high hopes for it.
The Ys series has ALWAYS been the reason for me to pick up a Sony system.
I got a PS2 just for Ys: The Ark of Napishtim
I got a PSP for Ys I+II Chronicles, Ys: The Oath in Felghana, and Ys Seven
I WANT a PS Vita for Ys: Memories of Celceta!! If Falcom starts work on a long overdue remake of Ys V (and a port of Ys Origin) then NOTHING will stop me from getting a PS Vita!
It's on my wish list. If I don't get it before the end of the year, it'll probably be one of the first games I pick up in 2014.

Got my Silver Anniversary Edition, but I might wait to make a big pickup post with some other things I have coming in.
Got mine today and just made it past the first dungeon and (hopefully) all of the tutorial screens. It's awesome so far, just like Ys 7 with slightly better graphics. The Vita seems to struggle with it sometimes, though. The scrolling isn't perfectly smooth and the shadows are dodgy. Kind of like PS3 shadows only a bit worse. Neither is an issue which prevents me from enjoying this game or having tons of fun with it, though.
