I can't agree with that. It's most likely that the Master System has a better ratio for quality, that's always going to be the double edged sword to 3rd party support, but the NES just has a lot of damn good games, amongst it's library of ****loads of games. Just as much crap though(the other edge of said sword).

So, what is it about these things that do get under our skin anyway? I mean I can give the SNES the aesthetic advantage, but not by the country mile overzealous fanboys want to give it. I can't let it have "superiority" because if it were to have that, it would have to excel at every aspect over it's competition, and it clearly doesn't. This would never have been a competition, or an argument, if either console had superiority over the other. It's like what aesthetic advantage it does have is enough to pull the wool over peoples eyes, and DKC is the perfect representative for the console overall, in that aspect.
