What did you do to your game collection TODAY?! :P

Today, I got off work and flew home giddy cause I knew there were 2 packages waiting for me. One contained a copy of Keith Courage in Alpha Zones for Turbo Grafx 16, and the other was R type for the Sega Master System. Never had the Turbo Grafx 16 up and running, so I was excited to find out if it worked. Using the RF switchbox that came with my Sega Master System (thanks AlexKidd401!!! :D) and the new game arrival I had everything to test the TG16. Powered up, game came on aaaaaand....the controller doesnt work..... frak.... X_x Oh well, at least I know the system powers up....

Next, R type. I love the R type series and I love Sega... so naturally I was going to enjoy this.... AND I DIIIIIIIIID!!! :D Played for the past hour n a half....still cant get past level 4 boss, but HEY! Im playin R type on a Sega system....that in itself makes me happy :). I am even feelin lucky enough to go get some more mental abuse from Ikaruga right now! X_x

What all did you guys do with your collection today? Get anything new? Clean/repair something? Reprogram a Dreamcast to make elves appear and then disappear?

I'm a collector with collecting problems right now...

There's a package waiting for me at home since yesterday, but I can't collect it because the mail room closes at six pm, and the girl responsible for being there before eight is never there.
The package comes with two Monster Lairs, MD and PCE-CD. Well, maybe Saturday I'll open it....

I've been cleaning and repairing controllers and consoles. Also, I've been doing a lot of dusting with my Extend-O-Swiffer 9000. I use basic, soft tissues for dusting too. If they don't leave little fuzzballs, then they're fine.

I just picked up a pristine copy of Zillion CIB for 10 bucks. That made my day. :)

I build a fortress out of all my Mega Drive games and sat inside it.

I bought Call of Duty and NFSU both for the PS Vita 10 bucks each and then Pac-Man, Bomberman and Namco Museum for the GBA.

Today I did... nothing. :(

I played some lunar for sega cd. also I'm trying to repair my amiga 32 disc drive. will give that another go this weekend maybe

I played a bit of Bass Masters Classic on genesis trying to beat the game. And I bought a TeeV Golf club controller/module deal for genesis going to play PGA2 when it shows up. I have a problem.

Yesterday I played a bit of Toejam & Earl with the 6 year old. Today I wouldn't mind making some progress on some overclocked videos of flight sims Barone requested. Today_is_the_day.

To get in the mood I might try NeoVamp's approach, make a fort out of clamshells and play in it. No pictures, please.

today I didn't do much with my collection, dusted off my systems but have been playing quite a bit of gba & psp lately.

Today my ebay order of 5 DreamCast games came in the mail, I immediately stripped these of their sweet cases and threw the games away.

For you see.. my own precious games had bad cases, and it had been bothering me for ages!

So I got the cheapest worst DreamCast games possible (3 wrassling and 2 sports) and stripped them of their only worth.

Feels good to know my DreamCast games are now perfect again.

I was about to go ballistic, but I'm OK with this.

I set up the Wii. Then played F Zero GX on HDTV, through component, with a subwoofer!!! amazing!!
