@Bottino. Honestly I think the game deserves its own thread. The music in tropical freeze is on a whole nother level. Listen the whole way through. You wont believe what you're hearing
These DK ones can't help but remind me of some of the Ecco tunes.
I have a bazillion newage albums with music better than this. That said, I'll get a rip of the game's score.
This is my favorite:

You must refer to DK64. SNES/Wii/WiiU DK games have lots of different styles of music. From spooky ambient to industrial. Is Stickerbrush Symphony (one of the most beautiful songs) a "jungle" music? The ones we posted here aren't jungle type either. Give them another listen, you are missing out :)
^ if you say so
i never was a huge donkey kong fan but 64 absolutley soured me on the franchise
( mario kart 64 with the ape's annoying soundbite when he passed me in a race also did nothing to endear me to him )
one of the donkey kong arena's in smash bros or melee also had that annoying rap song
That DK rap was never intended to be a "quality" song. It was just an attempt for a humorous, silly intro. I never liked either, i also thought it was annoying. The rest of DK64 OST isn't anything special either (apart from 2 or 3 songs). DK64 was composed by Grant Kirkhope who is great and all (Banjo-Kazooie OST is amazing), but not as good as David Wise IMO.
Just listed to the David Wise stuff. Start with DKC2 OST. Its considered as one of the best gaming soundtracks of all time and i agree 100% with that. And now he is back in DKC Tropical Freeze (the first DKC Returns was composed by Yamamoto).
Here are some more of David's latest work:

And again, i can't stress how much i love this one i posted earlier:
