I agree, I'm not wise to the whole batman fiction but isn't Arkham the name of an asylum or is it a region of Gotham? Either way, its overused and stupid. It makes a connection to the other games that probably isn't there which may make some people (like me) think ''its still arkham, I didn't play the 1st few arkham games, ill skip it until they start anew''
If the game gets decent reviews from a variety of outlets I'll likely get it for PC (if it comes out for PC). I enjoyed Arkham City well enough. It didn't set my world on fire or anything but it was fun and wasn't bugged all to hell.
Arkham became the name of the franchise so they have to shoehorn the name into the plot in various way to justify having Arkham in the title. In Arkham City a large portion of Gotham has been sealed off and turned into a prison Escape From New York style. Kind of works but for subsequent entries it really feels forced.Quote:

I get the vibe this game isn't going to go well. The "Arkham Knight" villain sounds like some weak shit. Seriously, Arkham Knight? You create a villain, and that's the BEST you could do? God, that's weak. That's something a first grader would come up with.
And Scarecrow as the main villain? lololol, nice try guys.
Batman was always pretty comfy with first-grade level naming, so Arkham Knight fits right in. The Joker, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Two Face, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, The Penguin... not exactly a treasure trove of creative monikers there.Quote:
