Butterflies have wings. Butterfly effect is when the contentious argument snowballs out of hand. Mods would stop the source of the argument with damage controlling locks/warnings/bans.

I'm not a fan of homosexuals, but this guy took it way too far. Protesting fallen warriors of any nation is the greatest shameful action one can do. Protesting funerals of dead homosexuals is not as poor of taste, but still brings sickness to my stomach. I belong to a Russian Orthodox church and Fred was branded a heretic. I am honestly surprised though that someone didn't off him years ago.

Phelps was a hatemonger masquerading as a Christian. His granddaughter was smart and left his church in 2013. Hatred is not the doctrine of Christianity. Just read the sermon on the mount and see what Christianity is all about.

Personally I go by whats in the heart regardless of a person is gay, straight, black ,white, brown, purple, orange, Christian , Muslim, Jew, or whatever. If the heart is deceitful and manipulative then that's when I step away.

He was doing it for years so much that when people heard he was going to protest at a funeral, a lot of military guys in suits showed up and blocked them from getting near the funeral grounds. He was pretty much in a nutshell a scumsucking waste of a human being & if I cared enough to go where he was buried, I'd piss on his grave. He won't be missed.

Westboro Baptist church should just be shut down. Only in this country are people allowed to act like this without being shot.

Although I appreciate where you are coming from, I remain skeptical. We are now at the point where religion (myth) is no longer needed to try to explain the world. There was a Wiley Non Sequitur comic strip with the little gothic girl asking her father how the word "war" came to be, and the father responds "It stands for 'we are right'."
