Those are his feet... It's an effect in animation to simulate fast movement, to the point where they move too fast for your eyes to see. That particular image of Mario was taken from this artwork. I manually cropped it out because I was feeling nice.

Congratulations! I like to hear stories such as yours simply because it just goes to prove that you can still obtain a sought after game for a decent price. If you purchase a game online, you are more likely to pay a much higher price simply because you are competing with other knowledgeable buyers.Quote:

Yes, playing is good. I am a firm believer in the soothing fulfillment one can attain from playing and USING a really expensive and/or rare game. I have freakin Neo Geo (AES) games and I actually play them. I paid $400 for one of them (Garou MOTW) and I play it as if it were just any other game.
Yes, I thought it was a very good comment. Sometimes we get caught up with this whole of idea of collecting and we forget to enjoy the games sitting in our shelves.
On the topic of the NEO GEO, I have a very good friend who was lucky enough to get the system day 1, After graduating from University and getting a job in 1997-98, he went on an utter tear trying to obtain all of the titles he wanted to play. Even though the prices of some of those games have skyrocketed in the last couple of years, he still plays all of his titles in his collection. He always tells me,"A true fan of the console doesn't allow their NEO GEO cartridges to gather dust but instead plays them". I borrowed that motto from him when I started collecting for my SEGA Genesis. :D
Most definitely!, Since I only collected/played Genesis I don't yet have an SNES but soon will and you bet these games will be played again and again. I don't see a point in collecting if you're not going to enjoy them. :) Thanks for the help out there Guntz.
