Just look on the classifieds. That's how I got my Sony KV-30HS420, supports up to 1080i through both Component and HDMI. These TVs were around in the mid-2000s; my particular set was manufactured in 2005.

Are you only using a CRT so the PS2 doesn't look like crap?
No, I use a CRT because I hate the way LCDs display video feeds, particularly analog video signals. I've had MANY problems with analog video signals on LCDs and even on one particular Sony Bravia LCD TV, there was some HIGHLY noticeable input lag in HDMI. I've abandoned LCDs altogether except as computer monitors.
Yep, I got my KV-32HS420 in 2005 as well. It was a steal at $500, when Fry's was clearing them out. I have another one that I'd bought for $800, that we use in the master bedroom to watch HD programs in 720p.

In the living room, I use my 52" Samsung LCD with a 5.1 DTS (DCS) surround setup. I use it for a gaming PC, PS3, 360 and HD television programs.

azonicrider: I mean no disrespect, but I would probably die in that game room. I have a nasty dust allergy and sinus/asthma issues, so I have to dust my office/game room area every other day. If I went to your place, you would have to keep an ambulance on standby. One of these days, you'll have to host a Spring/Summer cleaning party!
On setups, which is one of my favorite gaming topics, I keep two separated sections: LCD and CRT respectively separated by a computer desk in the middle.
On my right, is a gigantic industrial steel and wood shelf that I got from Lowe's, which is taller than me and three feet wide. It has more than enough space and capacity for multiple consoles, cables, surge protectors, a Sharp Micro Component System (or any other compact stereo), space for CRT TV's between 13" and 32", and various storage bins. Every shelf is adjustable. Highly recommended, but assembly is required.
On my left is my prized 24" ViewSonic VT2405 LED LCD Commercial TV with a complicated array of mechanical composite/S-video and component switchers connecting most of my modern systems (except for the PS3 connected to HDMI) to the TV. This ViewSonic can handle nearly any A/V connection: RF, Composite, S-Video, RGB/VGA, Component, and HDMI. In other territories, this model features SCART, but the US models don't have it. It also has excellent picture quality and is highly energy efficient.
I plan on taking photos of these two setups when I'm satisfied with everything. It's all pretty impressive in such a small room. The potential for achieving the "perfect setup" is mind boggling!
You guys think my TV setup is in a permanent location...
And that ViewSonic TV is nice, but PS3 on a 24" is lame. With HD consoles I always go 40" and above, but I guess its all personal preference.
I'm not using the ViewSonic TV as a living room TV. It's made for smaller rooms and computer desks. It even has PC specific settings. I plan on connecting my laptop to it eventually. The TV is literally four feet away from me. It looks spectacular all the way up to 1080p. Input lag is less than 5ms. No ghosting. 40" couldn't possibly fit in this space, probably not a 32" either. The ViewSonic sits in the corner of my computer desk, but might be a dedicated monitor soon.
This is a joke thread right? like saying "best car ever!" and then we see hillybilly car.
