Damn, they are jumping the gun on promoting this. I doubt that Sonic design will even carry into the final film.
...maybe that’s the idea? They’re giving their character designs a trial by fire by leaking them so they have plenty of time to correct them when the public reacts negatively.
Nah. This is Sony Pictures. Interviews with the film said they wanted to be more realistic. The same company behind Pixels, Emoji Movie and Amazing Spider-Man 2 and many more flops in recent years. They make garbage. This is the abomination we are getting.
Sony's going to burn. It may already be too late. Failure after boneheaded failure in films, idiocy in cameras, laziness in cellular phones, complete stupidity with the massive push of censorship with their only genuinely successful brand, PlayStation... The end is near, but I'm sure the worst will still be yet to come.

This is turning into a Ghostbusters 2016 drama. Seemingly the creators of Sonic both hate it. One of the films writers is on a blocking spree. This is already becoming a PR disaster lol

These 2 posters are so horrible, worse than the biggest Sonic-hater could mockingly generate just for a self-gratifying laugh. The problem seems clear -- the people behind this film don't like or know the character , and fanbase, of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Also that Sony is dying post made me laugh quite hard. I'm sure someone said something in the same vein around 1982 "I'm sure this CD thing is going to tank hard, I mean it's just ugly"
CD is quite possibly the only thing Sony hasn't screwed up. Beta, Memory Stick, U-Matic, Minidisc, DAT, SACD, ATRAC, UMD, my god the list is endless.Quote:

That "Sonic Woz Ere" is the perfect proof that whoever is the creative mind/s behind this is snorting crack all day and has some hardon for terrible 90s adaptions.
Eh, Colors and Generations were good and Mania is legit amazing. Sonic Team has made 2 good Sonic games since the Genesis era but it took a fan to make a great game. I'd say more Sonic Team should die and not Sonic itself.Quote:
