Terminator 2 on Blu-Ray could have looked a bit better. It's MPEG 2, unfortunately. However what I do like about the BD version is that it doesn't have the crappy extra footage. It's the superior theatrical version. Still waiting on my 5 free BDs.
Last night I picked up Hard Drivin' and F-117 Night Storm boxed and Ranger X and Rocket Knight Adventures loose.
This week I recieved Langrisser MD complete, Lunar MCD complete and Miracle Warriors Sega Mark III complete(with the little figurine, cloth map and everything :D).
I actually just got T2 Extreme Edition. Fantastic visual quality for a DVD; extras aren't that hot but that's what Ultimate is for.
i picked up Rocket Knight Adventures w/ box. and some complete sports games at a thrift the other day for 2$ each. i played Rocket Knight for a few minutes "my first time", and i must say this game looks pretty sweet. i'll definately have to check this out some more when i have some time.
Rocket Knight Adventures is great. That's not nostalgia talking, I just picked it up a couple of weeks ago myself. I absolutely love the game, it's nearly perfect.
the only reason i got Terminator 2 on Blu-Ray was the HD DVD version comeing out next month from Germany is only going to have the extended edition on it but it will have all the extras from the Ultimate Edition dvdQuote:

- Otogi
- Otogi 2
Xbox, $5 each. Good lord, I'm in love. Beautiful, beautiful games.
Nintendo DS Lite, 139,99€, MINT & complete
Tales of Phantasia (GBA), 9,99€, MINT & complete
My 5 free Blew Ray DVDs came today:
American Psycho
Superman the Movie
Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl (I hope to Science H. Logic Almighty that this is the first movie. They are not numbered so I had to guess. Please please please! The other two suck so damn bad that I'd rather suicide myself, but the first one is actually good.)
Flight of the Phoenix (I have never heard of this, but it sounded better than the other choices. This is probably something that is straight-to-video or similar).
Mel Gibson's The Patriot starring Ronald Emmerich (I sure hope this is better than Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow... two movies which make stabbing yourself in the eyeballs look fun).
I´m pretty sure the name is Roland. Ronald is the guy with the painted face Heath Ledger played before he bit the dust.Quote:

Same thing. It's his fault for having a retarded name. Either way, he makes shitty movies.
Joe - Yeah, that's the first one.
Hope you got the fixed version. Disney's currently replacing copies of the first movie because a couple of minutes of the movie are miss-framed. Read about it here: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=947053Quote:

I hope I have the fixed version as well. I wish they would release UPC code #'s so you could tell. Either way, the replacement is free.
12 foot TOS-Link Optical Cables x2!!!!!!!!!!!! - New sealed mint compl3t3!
Do NOT double post !!!!11010101
That's weird. I'm surprised I did that! I must have checked the mail between posts.
Just scored Secret Of Mana for SNES, which I'd forgotten I'd even bid on... on one hand I'm happy, but on the other hand, my SNES died today so I'll probably have to sell it just to buy a new one. Figures.
Ha, I have a loose cart of SoM too...the US-version sadly, and as I found out later, my import adaptor does not work with this game.^^
LOL i got allmost the same 5
but the only diffrens i picked wild hogs (had the other 2 choices from that part of the list allready) and ultraviolet (sucks that its the PG-13 version and not the UNRATED version)

But why a Genesis 3?
Some pretty solid titles in there. I could leave sunset riders, mortal kombat and sonic spinball though. As bad of a rep as the Genesis 3 gets, it still gets the job done so its all good.
Sonic & Knuckles (loose, no dust hinge) $1.99 @ Goodwill.
You could, but you'd be missing out on one of the top-5 co-op games for the system.Quote:

Sunset Riders is better on the SNES.
Ehh, more like a port I don't admire. Its a great game, but the burrito shop down the street from my house has the original arcade game. After playing the arcade version, the genesis port of it is quite dull IMO.
Not so sure about that, Joe. The Genesis version allows you to change firing modes on the fly.
i bought it for the games the genesis 3 was just a bounesQuote:

Five dollars for the whole shebang.
It's stuff like that that make yard sales kick ass. You wade through used clothes and useless knick knacks for hours, but finding that one $5 Nomad or other awesome buy just makes it all worth while.Quote:

I don't recall it being much of an issue, but it's been awhile since I've played either. I like the arcade voices that were retained in the SNES version... "Bury me with my money!" etc. Added personality.Quote:

-Goodfellas - BluRay - new
-Ratatouille - BluRay - Go this mint/complete, but used once and for very cheap.
EDIT: Actually an hour or more is probably plenty long enough elapsed time to double post in any thread.
Just scored these:
Gunstar Heroes
Adventures Of Batman And Robin
Another World
Smurfs
Aladdin
Mick And Mack: Global Gladiators
Castle Of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse
Krusty's Super Funhouse
Michael Jackson Moonwalker
Hey, we haven't voted on that yet, you dictator!Quote:
