Gaming is reaching the point where we should be beyond console wars crap when discussing the old systems. We should be able to examine the history of the medium without it devolving into brand loyalty debates.Quote:

Never had an NES myself until many years after it was left behind by game makers. I went straight from my Atari XEGS, to my SEGA Genesis.
The thing is, out of context, he isn't wrong about the software mattering more than hardware. In context he really means "Nintendo consoles have more software worth noting than Sega consoles," which turns around and makes it about the hardware in a whole different manner. "Nintendo is better because it has the sleazier business practices, so :P"
