I was wrong about the shutter technique being used on the VB. The rest I've been fine with, despite not remembering the technical name of the 3D effect at first. Both the SMS and the VB games mimic the stereopsis effect, they simply use two different electronic techniques to achieve the same 3D effect. And just as a final note, I never said the carts displayed the images the same way. In fact, I never brought it up, because I figured it was pretty much a given that I knew the SMS cart images flickered back and forth (as I stated in post #26), and that I had learned the VB cart images were constant (which I also stated back on post #26).
Oh, and just to clear up any lingering bits, "stereoscopic 3D"/"stereopsis" = "3D effect" phrase I've used several times.
