As for the Outrun one, never heard of that one before, looks nice enough. but those LCD games were so fucking shitty.
would have been cool if they had made one just like the TOMY racing thing.

would probably be extremely expensive unless it was actually like the tomy game ( wholly mechanical )

it beats the bloody tiger table top outrun by a mile though

I remember this driving toy from when I was a kid. I looked similar to the cockpit thing in the opening post, but the car was a sticker on the screen that didn't move and turning the machine on made a mode 7 kind of floor appear on the screen that you controlled and steered around while the car didn't actually move, like a mode 7 driving game I guess. Does that ring a bell with anyone?

I've never seen these big LCD racing games before, but I did have a cool F-117 LCD game where you look through a scope and shoot down planes. I don't think you ever bombed anything, which was the F-117's specialty.

That handheld OutRun looks like a couple Tiger handhelds I had back in the day. So, I told my parents that I wanted the new Sonic the Hedgehog game on the SEGA Genesis. Instead they got me a Sonic Tiger LCD game... :? I might have it in storage somewhere. I think I had a Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers one too.

*Edit* Just watched the OutRun LCD video by Ashens... That might be one of the worst "games" I've ever seen. I've lost faith in humanity.
