I understand and I am American. It's lots of fun trying to ship things to China for example and their wont take characters. Every damn time I have to ship to my Mother-in-laws in Sweden, a small house in the country 30 k outside of Gothenburg , not a town, and USPS can't fathom it.

I always thought it was dumb that Hogan's finisher was a weak leg drop. As big and as muscular as he was, couldn't he come up with something better?

In Japan his finisher was the Axe Bomber, which was pretty cool.

Apparently he also wrestled in a more technical style there.

It almost seems like there's a slight undertone of this thread that we should be ashamed for living in the US. That we should be ashamed of our country and that it would be stupid to be proud of it and celebrate Independence Day. No country is perfect. I often see a lot of hatred towards the US on the internet. Shitty people exist all over the world, not just in the US. And those who hate are shitty people.

Instead, how about directing all of that angst towards our government. Not the country as a whole.

Ah yes, independence day. The most patriotistic holiday on earth. 300 million subjects obeying a government obsessed with global control, illegal espionage and warfare, agreeing to putting funding of a self-centered bloated army above investing in local problems, living in over-priced cardboard houses, which they put themselves in hundereds of thousands of dollars in debt for, because they're told by the entity that it is good, in a country with marode infrastructure, basically non-existant public transport and an atrocious eco footprint, celebrate themselves.

They're the good guys. When they devote all of their (admittedly limited) brain power to celebrate this illegitimate state, praising democracy that really isn't a democracy, it is called patriotism and good.

When us europeans come even close to celebrating ourselves, it is called nationalism and bad, and must be fought with all powers at hand.

It is truly a beautiful country. The problem is the people living in it.

No one in the US cares if you want to fly your flag. Its only Europeans that get upset and call it nationalistic. In fact that puzzles us Americans with our limited intelligence. Many are not even aware of your own self loathing. It's not like its was same flags our grandparents took as war trophies. Seriously we don't care

I have relatives in America. I have been to the country fourteen times. And you're proving my point. Hitler's been dead for the past 70 years as far as I can remember, and our country has been a democracy ever since. Plus, how about all the other european countries? You certainly don't tolerate any patriotism there as far as I can see!

EDIT: by "illegitimate state" I mean that law means absolutely nothing, judges make any choice they can get away with because all they want is their lunch break and if that fails then whatever is in the government's / lobbyist's interest or whomever has the most most money comes in place. It never fails! :D
