justifier

Just bought the blue and pink justifier gun. Player 1 and player 2. For $40. Seems I got a good deal?

I think the pink one is worth more than the blue one for some reason. Did you get them boxed or with any kind of accessories?

The pink one was mail-order only, while the blue one came with the game, so of course the pink one is a lot rarer. I just wish there were more Genesis light gun games that supported them...

No accessories or anything. They were loose and saw them in two separate boxes in a game store. So while checking out with them, they originally quoted $100 for the pink one and $20 for the blue one. So I told them no, I'll just get the blue one then. But, since finding the two and that they realized they both go together, they did not want to split them up. But I wasn't about to pay $120. So I scored them both for $40. :P

Well it is not a bad deal from a collector's perspective. I just looked and the pink one alone seems to go for 75-100$ on ebay. I did not know it was worth this much.

Pretty funny as I was looking for genesis lightgun recently. A local store has a nice CIB Sega Menacer for 35$ CAD. I think I will grab it if they still have it next time I go there.

Here they are all cleaned up. Will be playing Snatcher with it tonight.

They are literally mint loosing. Even the lens is nice and smooth.

$40 is a good deal. I got a pair with a Genesis and a handful of games (including Lethal Enforcers) for about $45 a couple years ago and I was happy.

He said he paid $40 for each, so $80 total. They look to be in great condition so I'd say it's worth it.

I meant 40 dollars total, didn't mean each.

Oh, that's even better! But I don't understand... you were gonna pay $100 for just the pink, but they didn't want to separate them, so they let you have both for $40??? I wanna shop there...

Haha OK I re-read your edit and it makes sense now. Awesome deal! Local stores sometimes have higher prices but I've always had luck getting great deals there that you'd never find on ebay.

I paid maybe $75 total for my Blue and Red Justifiers on ebay. More for the red than the blue (about $25 and $50). I got them when I was adding peripheral support to SGDK (homebrew Genesis library maintained by Stef over at SpritesMind). SGDK supports 3 and 6 button pads, the Sport Pad trackball for the SMS, the Menacer and Justifier light guns, the Mega Mouse, and both the Sega Tap and the non-Sega Tap (forget the name offhand). I like the Justifier guns better than the Menacer - they don't have as many buttons, but work better as light guns.

The Menacer just looks so terrible and the trigger is so unsatisfying.

Is it possible to mod somehow the Light Phaser to be used as a justifier?
