erm, which one is the original on those Pitall shots? You guys spend dozens of hours doing this amazing work but you keep forgetting the most simple indication... I know I can boot the game and check, though.
Also I'm not familiar with the game so I can humbly say they are both interesting color choices, I want to keep them both so thanks for your current work on this but I honestly don't know which one is supposed to look better/enhanced/more natural/more like the arcade/whatever

If you get to know the game and pay attention to the graphics you'll notice a lot of issues in the original color scheme.

This is a very good platformer IMO and the Genesis/Sega CD version has the best gameplay out of all versions released, with its graphics being usually pointed as the weak spot of this version. That's why I chose this game, because I believe I can make it look, overall, as good as the other versions. To be honest, the Genesis/Sega CD version will be the most consistent one even in the graphics department after this hack because both the Jaguar and SNES versions (considered the prettiest ones) have some atrocious spots IMO and they can be fixed in the Genesis/Sega CD version by making better color choices and changing the sprite pattern of some enemies and objects.
Now you can see and understand the green wall on the botton of the screen, very good.Quote:
