Not making any requests, but if you want to see a game that needs color improvement in the worst possible way, somehow I managed to sit through 11 minutes of a 29 minute longplay of Batman Returns. Compared to that, whoever chose the colors for Bloodlines was an ace.
The "early" western developed games usually looked like crap on the Mega Drive, with very few exceptions IMO.
Batman Returns is kinda like Chakan in terms of graphics: choppy, awfully designed, dithered in a very ineffective way, tons of purple and dark colors all around. It's painful to look at.
About consistency have to discuss and reach a consensus here. Because before I also thought like you and thought that the tower should have the same color as the previous in my head are the same.
But playing several times for the hack was in doubt. In the original game the tower of Pisa is one that has that amazing distortion effect that seems that the tower is rocking. At this point the game is very faithful since the colors of the tower follow the same colors when you spot her in the background of the scene in the first part. If you pay attention you get on top of Pisa and enter that crowded part of mummies, rises over one floor and then grabs the flying platforms to another tower to face the boss. This tower has different colors, and when you arrive at the boss is the same color when you spot it in the distance. Another thing is that if the tower of Pisa is leaning should not completely straight. So I was convinced that this is another tower, not the tower of Pisa you pass previously.
You guys can play this part watching these points to prove my theory or say that I'm really crazy?
