Blanka and Chin Li's stages are great improvements
Chun Li looks perfect. Blanka looks great too, but the brown tone for the house is not "perfect". The tree looks MUCH improved!!! :daze:
I like those blue tones in Honda's stage. Blanka's stage looks better, specially the tree. Chun Li's stage looks too brownish to me.
Maybe if you take something inbetween both extremes in Chun Li's stage, i.e. something closer to the original blue-ish grey and the new red-ish grey tones.

Looks very very good already. But here is an idea for improvement:
1. (maybe switch the "black" from under the bridge back to original brown tone?)
2. Switch dark patches (pixels) in the hills to dark blue from the sky
3. Switch sky to dark color from dark patches (pixels) in the hills
4. (maybe make the floor less vibrant? see example)

1- r: Is the same darkest shade of the grass and tree of foreground
tha darkest shading of any color except the green destroy all that stuff
i tried everything and dosent works
2- r: The darkest shade of the hills is the darkest blue.. if you up one shade thats comes too close of the next,
in monitor you can see the minor diference but on tv thats bleend as one and loss all details
now with the dark shade the processor creates a mid tone bewteen this looking ok
3- r: i wont gonna change the sky, is the best that i achiv in my tests and if i change 1 shade there,
i have to reinsert the same hex value in 50 lines just for test and make this work or boreal effect glitchs and i cant see everything
4- r: I tried all tones, with i make the bridge good the castle looks off...
the problem the that the light shade is the window light

Nooooo, the brighter blue one was already perfect!! It looked sooo much better!!!!!! Now everything is all dirty like in SF2CE :(:(:(:(:(
You need look deeply in a smal pick, look at the center of the main floor...
in the two brighter versions you miss detail cuz the shading is so bright and so close... making hard to see the texture details ( even more harder on tv)
and de characters pop ups too much on the screen..
now the color i cant do like the arcade ( 6 colors is too less to do the same effect) and i dont like of the greener one, so i put a standard shading between blue and green
and keep going.. is hard make everyone happy =D
Surprised how improved SSF2 can look because I thought it was a good looking game already.
Patiently awaits The Punisher color hack :) Still to me one of the best 16-bit beat em ups even with the crappy color job.

Seriously, the blue is much nicer, and closer to the arcade too. All the details 'missing' are there, it's just that the contrast isn't as harsh, but you can still see everything just perfectly.
The bricks are still there, just a bit faint due to the dark blue tone chosen.
i strongly dislike ssf2 but great job on improving the colors!
