It's more like an expanded clone of Hard Drivin' (1989), than an early SFR. In fact, Stunts looks like it might have started as a port of Hard Drivin', but the company lost the license. It's that similar in quite a few ways.

My experience with early 90s PC gaming - King's Quest VI is amazing!
