EBAY HACKED!! Accounts deleted, listings vanishing into thin air.

Well, I don't see anyway for someone to take money from your ebay account, they can make a mess but not directly steal. For that they would need the paypal account. As far as I know Paypal was not hacked. But then many users might use the same password for both sites.

Which is exactly why I use different passwords on each site and I do not link them. Every time I purchase something, I have to log into both sites to complete the purchase. I don't like convenience options because those usually involve vulnerabilities.
