The 90's Arcade Racer - Sega Arcade as we like!

This wonderful project that brings back the glory of the arcade racing to your house, thats already approved the kickstarter (Thank you god!).
Nothing of gray and lifeless graphics or boring and realistic gameplay... here the graphics are colorful and super fast and fun gameplay we like so much!

I keep hoping this project will make another great Arcade style racer. Realism isn't my main complaint with modern games, I just don't think the gameplay is tested well enough over all of the other things that can go wrong with not-a-consoles, like memory units being pulled or disks being ejected randomly.

I have been looking forward to this game for a few years. I would love to see arcade racers make a comeback.

The original goals were for it to be released on PC, Mac, Linux, and maybe even Steam with other platforms later. Shortly after funding, they decided that release on the Wii U was more important than everything else. Obviously the developer can make whatever choices he wants, but IMO it would have made more sense to do what was originally planned, make backers and fans happy, make some money, then do the Wii U version.

As it is I have no expectation that this game will be released anytime soon. I hope I am wrong :)

It looks like Ayrton Senna is driving Nigel Mansell's Williams. Gotta love this game.

Looks good. It needs a better name. With the amount of hype this guy's made around this, he better deliver. If there's one group of fans that don't forgive, it's Sega fans.

The game looks good and everything, but the music absolutely needs to be awesome - like Daytona awesome.

it looks awesome except if it comes out on pc it kills the whole sega vibe and most of all where is the "bad" music? it's definitely no sega arcade game without ridiculous music and voice overs like sega rally and daytona

This how I saw this game seemed a remake of the Sega Super GT!
I'm rooting for this project and I think the music will not disappoint.

I dunno, if it comes out on Steam then a Steambox experience would also be possible. (for the console experience)
or even a VR experience, imagine the classic arcade racer experience in VR!

Android and Wii U both don't offer the (possible) VR experience.

If they're going to make a WU version, might as well put the game on the Dreamcast too; since it's obviously inspired by Daytona et al., it would be right at home and probably would sell better as well lol
