I found this recent review of his hilarious mainly due to his annoyance of the constant fast background scrolling. I mean it's true, playing this freaking game, at least the snes version hurts your eyes after a while. I know this game has been talked before here but I just wanted to share this for a good laugh. I can't wait to see how the Genesis version is going to turn out!

The Amiga version didn't have to deal with that shit. The background scrolls the correct way.
Yes, that background scrolling is infamous for inducing headaches. Even 3 seconds of it is enough to make me stop the video.
This game should be called Jim Power The Seizure Dimension in 3D; i got dizzy just by watching the video.
It's always good to watch Mark's stuff though.
One thing is true for every version of Jim Power (besides the amstrad one that lacks it), the music kicks major ass.

It's a soundchip barely better than the one on the Master System, and yet it sounds this good.
So what does this mofo say at the beginning of every video? "Banished from Earth plastic game room broadcast from the intergalactic space arcade on its never-ending mission to review everything."? This makes no sense.
I always assumed he said, "Spanish from Earth classic game room" but that can't be as he never spoke spanish before.

It's typical Mark silliness, don't see what's so wrong about it.
Ah, he forgot the comma when he spoke it. It sounds like a single run-on sentence.

Apart from the insane difficulty level, Jim Power for SNES is a pretty good game...
If we're calling mediocre Euro-platformers "pretty good," then a lot of games are now suddenly good.
It has good music though.
Jim Power 3D for SNES is way better than your average Euro-platformer... and anyway, only 3 of the 7 levels are platformer levels. 3 are platformer levels, 2 are top-down Mode 7 levels (I love these stages!), and 2 are shmup levels.

The stupid 3D gimmick is what ruins it. Someone should make a patch that makes the background scroll the right way.
I was gonna say, we can't have a rivalry between two of my three favorite youtube shows that I watch nearly every day!! He says "banished from earth" because he's gone from reviewing the games from his house, to a storage unit garage thing like in Storage Wars to a full on warehouse with offices and everything, I assume.
