I have secured the holy grail of Sega arcade cabinets; Golden Axe The Revenge of Death Adder. It is an arcade exclusive and it is All Fucking Mine!

I had that same cab model, but with Sega Spiderman instead of RODA, consider yourself lucky if you got the version with the Nanao monitor instead the Wells Gardner one.

Keep buying these machines guys, I need you to. My wife thinks I have a games obsession. It does her good to see that I really am quite moderate! Nice machine there, I can't pretend to fully understand the significance of it though, but it's clearly a holy grail of some sort; I hope it lasts you a long time and you really enjoy playing it. It's ace when you find a really good steal and can really get some fun and satisfaction from it.

Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder is one of the greatest beat'em ups ever made by Sega (one of the beast beat'em ups ever really) that, unfortunately, never had a home conversion.

That's why it's a "holy grail" for a collection.

When Konami announced the X-men port to PS3/360 I was hopeful that Sega would open eyes and follow the path with this title and some more arcade games without console ports, but they are too stupid to do that.

I just watched a few minutes of play on youtube and holy hell this game looks great! I like how the dead enemies stay on screen and litter the killing field. Riding a praying mantis in the first level, that gets a "hell yeah"!

I don't think is that great, the fighting engine is a bit limited and not very fun, the hit and hurt boxes sometimes are all over the place, it sure has some great scaling effects here and there but is not as engaging as the kings of the genre: Final Fight, C&D, Vendetta, Denjin Makai, etc.

The trouble with buying dedicated cabs is that your eventually going to get bored of playing the 1 game

Can we get a Golden Axe Remake with RoDA's graphics though? :D congrats dude, the holy grail indeed!
