Well this is interesting, $50 PS4's & Xbox One's

So apparently Listings are showing up on Amazon for PS4's and Xbox Ones for $50-$90 and people are seeing them and going to Wal-Mart and getting them to price match. Obviously something fishy is going on with these listings, but people are taking advantage of it. I've seen an ethical debate sparking on places like NeoGAF over this and I'm curious what you guys think of all this?

These are THIRD PARTY listings. They are not fullfilled by Amazon and most likely will be cancelled.

Whelp, I just bought an Xbox One. Let's see how this pans out.
One issue right off the bat is I don't know a single game I'm interested in playing on the thing.

Letter of the law versus the spirit of the law, I think.

Maybe the questions to be asked would be:
Do you really believe that $50 covers all costs of production, transporting and storage of those xbones and PS4s; plus the cost of the employee which is handling your purchase at Wal-Mart?
Do you care about unemployed people?
Do you feel awesome after a purchase like that?

Well I just bought one. Here's hoping they don't cancel it.

There's like a HUGE debate on Nintendoage speaking about this from the whole Sears listing Wii-U bundles and 3DS for $59

Won't ship outside of US, oh well.

Not even at $50 is a PS4 or XBone worth buying. There's nothing good to play on them, at all.

These are third party listing guys. So I wouldn't really trust them, sorry I should have been more clear on that in the original post. People on NeoGAF said their orders were cancelled. It looks like people may be putting these up just to take advantage of price matching.

Damn, sounds like I missed out on some good Nintendo deals. I don't think I would buy the Xbox One even for such a low price. Plus, that "Just Launched" seller looks fishy.

I didn't see the PS4 deal anywhere though. *Edit* Nevermind. Still fishy though.

But if that was the case wouldn't $50 bucks seem kinda unrealistic or a price match? Could as well have listed them at $10.

Apparently Wal-Marts price matching policy is extremely vague. Though it depends on the manager's discretion.

I foresee some new Amazon seller policies in the near future. Something like - Have an expensive new item? You won't be able to sell it for below a certain price. Or newbies can't sell game consoles.
