This is the off-topic section, though? He never posted it in the video game sections. Collecting figurines is quite common and this is a retro video game site, so of course people here have collections that expand beyond video game carts for Mega Drive. I see nothing abnormal about his dolls.

That's why everyone whines on internet forums, because unlike real life, where if you don't like someone's coversation or think that they're weird, or really don't want to talk about something, it's easy to walk away. But on an internet forum, you have to read it because you have to read everything and wade through the shitposters (Like those who invaded this thread) to actually read the conversation.Quote:

That's kind of a broad statement Baloo but in general there have been situations just like you've described. Hell there was one guy who was @ videogame gathering who literally got banned for life from their groups because he threw a shitfit over someone bringing Dreamcast CDRs. lolQuote:

I think everyone knows this but even so there's always a line you should draw on just how some people act on forums. Look Melf knows me well enough that I don't really go out looking to troll people. It's just when people like this spam weird crap like this on a forum that yes I'll agree is in an offtopic section there's a point you gotta go. Oh I've seen some stuff that makes me want to wash my eyes out with bleach. The internet has sadly givin people with way too much freetime and thought to share their "passions" with the rest of the world.
Anyways Baloo, I'm not trying to be an ass nor disrespect your position.
I completely agree here with BonusKun, the collective modding staff here at Sega-16 can be too lenient at times, lines must be drawn. If most (if not all) of the civil and rule abiding users who have been here for years all dislike a particular user for his clearly disgusting and disturbing posts, why can't action be taken? If you want, send him a few warnings to cut it out and stop creeping everyone out. But if he doesn't abide, that means a ban is in order. That's usually how it's supposed to work.
The thing about this is that he has been simply sharing his personal doll collection. It doesn't justify for any real warnings, let alone getting banned for it. The guy hasn't harassed anyone on the message boards or broken any rules of site. This is honestly the type of stuff you just ignore and move one from. There's no real reason to kick the guy out for being different.
If you didn't want to partake in this thread about a 'creepy doll fetish' then why did you open the thread in the first place.
Although if you guys can provide me (and everyone else) with some entertaining reading with a few of these so called digusting and downright creepy posts/threads, please link them.
