I lurked in it before it died. I know that Square Phoenix is not trustworthy.

Well everyone I did it! The sega CD is back up and running. I ordered and replaced the spindle motor and ordered a new spindle. I tested it out and it plays burnt games so that's a good sign. Only thing wrong now is the laser doesn't stop at the beginning so the gears will make a grinding sound but that's probably the laser switch being dirty, I'll clean it tomorrow.

I'm still looking for a faceplate and CD tray so if anyone has any please let me know.
