Project Altered Beast: how bad was it?

I've been curious about the game. Hopefully better than 'Guardian of the Realms' on GBA, no?

Repettive shallow gameplay and ugly graphics. Personally, I love the game - my PS2 guilty pleasure. Great fun once you look past it's faults.

For me, Guardian of the Realms is the only good AB game.
