Need help identifying Neo Geo MVS modifications

Hey all. I recently got a MV4F board through a trade. I was told it was a working board but I saw issues soon as I got it.
So far ive done the battery mod with a non-rechargable cell, removing the 470ohm resistor.

Then I saw a 150ohm resistor blown in half and replaced that.

Now in the imgur link below will be some work that someone at some point did.

There's some chip that has been added on the underside of the board. No clue what kind it even is.

There's a bridge made between a ls245 and what i think is a microfrad cap.

And lastly someone's cut a trace to a 24mhz crystal.

Are any of these things an issue? Please let me know. Thanks!

1) Pull up array, very common with tri-state buffers like the 74245.
2) Probably the last pin (Vcc) of the chip is jumpered to the cap for power decoupling. Nothing to worry about.
3) Cut trace....who nows. You would need to map the circuit further to figure out what it was for.

For the trace, from what little I've found on the net, I think it has to do with video.

Edit: Looking closer at it, the trace doesn't seem to go anywhere at all. On the top side there is a thorugh-hole under the crystal that connects to the cut trace. But nothing is there.
