wow looks great to me,im sick of the SHMUPS,and gunlord was such a breath of fresh air.I look forward to this.
Considering the NEO GEO fanbase, I'm not so sure a traditional JRPG would fly. The console is more action oriented and I don't think a developer would risk putting time and money into a game of that sort. Maybe I'm wrong but I can the NEO GEO community being receptive to an action RPG. In other news, the gang at NEO-GEO.COM are lambasting the game:

Alot of guys are too funny! Everytime I visit the forum, I feel like I'm back in highschool all over again! :p
I'm glad the forum is still going strong! :ok:
I think it's cool to see a non-shmup coming out as homebrew for the Neo-Geo, but... the implementation of gravity shown in the demo is the kind of thing I'd have working better than that before I would want to show anybody. To me the triangle jump is a very bad sign, so I'll just have to have faith in that being remedied later.
new shmups, NG DEV TEAM, pleaase!!!!

those looking to blast through this spiritual successor to Metal Slug early will need to part with €399 for the MVS version or €549 for the AES home cartridge
It looks cool and all but the price is just ridiculously insane IMO. I don't mean to say the developers are too greedy, but I feel like the gameplay experience itself doesn't worth nowhere near that much.
It looks fun, but maybe a little too derivative. At least with Gunlord I was like, "This looks like a badass new Turrican." With this game I feel like, "This looks like a bootleg Metal Slug."
I'm sure it's going to be fine as a game but I agree that it's not worth throwing that kind of money at, especially with how affordable some of the Metal Slug games are. I get that that's not the point and it's meant to be a new game for collectors but it still seems lacking.
And note this :
This video shows an early development version.
Due to a change to a different musician team all music is extremely early.
We are going this time with a FM/chip tune sounding soundtrack.
The music is done by the team Groovemaster303 and Jredd.
Yay! I'll wait for the Dreamcast port.
When I heard the trailer, I knew that I had heard that style before. "This sounds like Jredd or Groovemaster," hah.
Too much money for me but kudos to those two for getting some more work!
FYI, this game is not coming to Dreamcast. At all. Bummer.
