maximum carnage am I the only one that finds this game super difficult?

I'm pretty good at beating mark especially since I can beat legend on SNES. now I'm very worried that it I suck at the Spiderman maximum carnage game. I am playing the SNES version since my Genesis still in storage, LJN made the game and I know they are infamous for making horrible games especially the s***** nes game they made of spidey.

is maximum carnage the only game that suffers from this difficulty ? did they fix it for separation anxiety 32 X? or am I just playing the game wrong?

side note I had a great time beating sonic blast man 1 & 2. I have been in a beat him up mode lately I may just get River City ransom 2 for Super Nintendo translated going again since I never got far in that game. having an awesome time playing final fight 3 with the second player on auto play anymore beat em ups that have the second player on auto play as an option?

I haven't tried in a very long time, but I never managed to beat Carnage.

I know I've always loved this game, but I don't remember ever getting past stage two... or whatever. I know it's hard.

It's RED. Of course it's hard.

I feel like the Genesis version is just a hair easier. But yeah, it's a very hard game.

Separation Anxiety just isn't very good.

...not that this particular series needs to further outshine that one, but Streets of Rage Remake. Also, I believe River City Ransom Ex on the GBA, and well as this: http://www.romhacking.net/translations/226/

Those are about all I can think of with that feature.

As for Maximum Carnage, there are hidden 1-ups, which helps out a lot.
