I'm a child of the 80's and childhood viewer of Transformers and I never developed a adult love for them.
Same with G.I .Joe.
I guess I just never stopped loving them. Several of my G1 items are from my childhood...I never had many (most of mine were bought secondhand at garage sales and whatnot), but they stayed in the condition they were in when I bought them. The rest I've just gotten good deals on here and there, or else bought new or were given as gifts. I love robots, engineering, and science fiction, but Transformers in particular. Is it any surprise that one of my favorite Genesis games is Ranger X? :D I'm not very good at playing it, necessarily, but I love it all the same.
i got the dvd boxset from china in wood with all the episodes 99 and the movie with unicron fun to see once in a while
I constantly scour thrift stores and once in a great while they turn up. My wife brought me home a bag one time with Starscream, Thundercracker and Optimus. When I was in Sweden I found a few in the garbage. I never had many when I as little. They were to expensive. Though I will always remember getting Wheeljack on my 4th birthday and then Optimus on my 7th. Those were the days. Happy memories there.Quote:
