Just been getting back into collecting MD/MS and definitely want to pick one up before they are all gone! Will you give us some kind of indication when that is getting close?
At the moment, i'm picking up larger lots of games and feel my money is better spent there as i begin...but don't want to miss out on this print run!
Hello. Thank-you for your interest in Beggar Prince.
In stock? Less than 30. However the factory will be sending over more copies once these run out; I can only keep so many copies on hand at any given time.Quote:

Thanks for the reply :)
It looks like i can't actually send PMs yet, maybe something to do with being a new member. But definitely let us know (even through PM on this board) when you get down to the last 100 or so! i'll buy one asap in that situation...Finally, is this the last run to be produced?
It's my pleasure.Quote:

For some time now, I've wanted to sit down and redesign the Super Fighter Team website. Not tweak it - more like detonate a bomb inside it and start over from the ground up. After all, the original design was thrown together in my hotel room in Burlingame, California, the night before the 2005 Classic Gaming Expo. It was supposed to be a temporary placeholder design, but in the following months as things picked up and became more hectic, there just wasn't proper time to even think about rewriting the HTML. Even so, the thought was always in the back of my mind, and when Super Fighter Team acquired OlderGames last December, that thought came hurtling back to the forefront.
Then, on the afternoon of February 6th, 2008, inspiration suddenly struck, and within several hours I found that somehow, even with my admittedly mediocre knowledge of HTML, I had keyed in the basic framework of what would later become my most impressive website design to date.
Enter February 24th, and hear my exciting cry of:
"It's finished, it's tested, it's, it's... IT'S ALIVE!!!"
Well, it's about damn time. After several weeks of hard work powered by Vault soda and the ever-hip music of the Beatles, I am proud to finally present:
*** Super Fighter Team website v2 ***
100% hand coded using DOS edit. Dig it, yo!
Your feedback is welcome. Extra special thanks to all of our customers and fans, who give me a reason to proudly continue my support of great classic videogames. Never let dreams die!

P.S. - Double post. :)
Well well. Hit the big time, eh? Site looks great; I wish you many years of publishing success.
I did not make any accusations, but I confronted you directly. Zebbe and me did notice what happened on Wikipedia, since we both check this article regularely; in fact I was the one who made an entry for Super Fighter Team in the first place, so I am interested in everything connected to SFT.Quote:

My motives are what I mentioned earlier; that I do not like hiding infos and think that details about projects especially for such small groups of dedicated fans as the MD community should not be a secret. No beating around the bush. But of course in the end it is your decision how to handle your own companyīs buisiness. I still think a 2-sentence-answer would have been enough; after all, as you say Zebbe and me are the only ones who seem to care and we know what Tototek is.
So now, for a two direct questions:
You now acquired OlderGames, but donīt offer anything from their catalogue nor do service for their products. So, what did you buy it for? Do you plan to use the name as some second label for specific products or something? Or maybe let go of the SFT-name after a while altogether?
And do you have any idea when you will announce something new for Mega Drive by now?
The new website looks awsome. At least 200% better than the old one. Perhaps even 300%!? I like the colours and layout, it looks very unique and simple, but also professional.
Site looks really nice. I use EDIT too :) And speaking of web-sites, I badly need to update mine !!!
I am very interested in the game, just how hard is it to play a 16 bit game if you haven't played one in awhile.
First, I'd like to thank those of you who've taken the time to comment on the new SFT site design. I appreciate the positive feedback.
In fact, you wrote exactly this: "People should feel that SFT is a friend they can talk to openly, not some faceless company with the bad habits of hidden secrets and the will to silence critics."Quote:

Unfortunately people are easily influenced by what they read, whether it is true or not, so these types of situations are certainly ones I take personally.
Internal business contracts, partners and the like are certainly not everybody's business, regardless if the project and / or the community is small, or if it is very large. If a detail about my company or one of its projects is withheld from the general public, there's always a very good reason (usually legal) why - it isn't because I'm trying to be deceptive or otherwise. This is something that may be difficult to understand for the average person, but this is how companies work.Quote:

I would appreciate it if you both kept this in mind for the future, should similar burning questions (which have little to no business in this forum thread) arise.Quote:

* Not everything in their back catalog was properly licensed. Super Fighter Team only releases product for which we have full legal support of all parties involved.
* I did not agree with the overall quality of their products, for example:
- unfinished or otherwise incomplete games
- moderate amusements that would be more suited to freeware releases than commercial
- games which required console modification to run
I will let someone else decide whether or not they wish to handle such product. Instead, I will continue to focus on delivering only the highest quality product for everyone.
Shortly before we acquired the oldergames.com website, it had been redirected to a MySpace profile page. Thus, I hope no one chooses to blame me for dropping support for the OlderGames back catalog, as that support was dropped weeks before, by the owners of the product themselves.
In actuality, I had never thought 'OlderGames' to be a very fitting name for an outfit that was supposed to be producing new games for classic systems. Rather, it sounded better suited to someone who was simply re-selling games that had been released years before.Quote:

I think it's an easy game to jump into and begin playing. Not to say that it isn't challenging, but you learn as you go, like most any other RPG.Quote:

Zaku, yes, it is forwarded to the developer's pages for the time being. Eventually as time allows, I'll work up the content for our own Zaku pages and post it upon completion.Quote:

As you might or might not remember I have tried my best to promote BP here in Germany in forums, magazines (sadly with no result there) and on websites I am known at myself. So trust me it is not my will to hurt SFT in any way; after all, I am looking forward to future releases myself.
I promise to use e-mails next time however.
