Which is very odd, considering that C&E's other releases for the MD all had very nice, very professional-looking box designs. I think, it's yet further proof that the original Chinese version of Beggar Prince was unfortunately rushed to market. :(Quote:

Help needed guys:)
I picked this up after a few months so I can't really remember what to do:
Now I 'm in the desert at the doorstep of the piramid but I can't op the door. The last thing I remember was beating that cactus in the rainforest. :daze:
Please help.
Make sure you talk to everyone in the Garden of Wonder (where you defeated the Cactus Fiend) because one of the fairies will clue you in on the whole 'pyramid scheme'. ;)Quote:

Will the website for beggar prince shut down after the remaining copies are sold?
It couldn't be updated to reflect that they've all been sold if it was shut down.
Damn it...
I'm gonna wish years later I bought this, but I just don't have the budget for a $40 Genesis game.
Ignore that last post.
Honestly, minutes after posting that, my brother walked in and asked me what that was, and said he'd help pay.
So....I just put in my order!
I've been waiting for this for awhile!
I know that but after they have selled out and people know that there gone then will the site shut down?Quote:

Square has stopped selling SaGa Frontier and they haven't shut down their site for it. ;)Quote:

No, most definitely not. We're a professional company, not a "fly-by-night ltd." ;)Quote:

Though Beggar Prince is a much beloved and very important product to us, we're spending a lot of time, energy and effort pouring our blood, sweat and tears into new, exciting products for everyone in the vein of classic gaming to snap up, play and enjoy.Quote:

How many copies are you down to now?
well seeing as yesterday he said 7 copies and assuming Vinny bought one Im gonna take a wild guess and say 6 or less.
I've really been putting off buying this I might just have to splurge and try to get one of the last copies, you should put a prize in the last copy sold that would be sweet. Something really really rad, like the name of the new game your making that would be sweet or a bag of skittles hell i dont know.
I know it is 6 copies or less but I just want an exact number.
Would you just hurry up and buy one already? :PQuote:

It's hardly going to have reduced by much in a couple of days. Or would you like Death Adder to PM you every time a copy is sold?Quote:

Well it's his to do with what he wishes, but I always prefer if my customers are people who actually want to play and enjoy the game, rather than re-sell it. We didn't spend two years working on Beggar Prince so that people could let it collect dust on a shelf.Quote:

Yes, congratulations! Genesis games can still be successful!
I hope a Sega exec happens to browse this board and sees this. :(Quote:

Actually we're planning to call it SOR5, following in line with the Leisure Suit Larry numbering system.Quote:

They are already coming together to talk, on boards just like this one.Quote:

You'd better sue them for putting their logo on your screenshots. By the way, how is the licensing going?
Mutilating beautiful pixel art by poo-dropping 3d manglings on top of it! A travesty!Quote:

Actually, the logo plastering isn't so bad, compared to their writing C&E INC. incorrectly as "T&E Soft". It's written on the box and displayed on the title screen! How do you get that wrong?!
Oh, well. At least they enjoyed (and are recommending) the game. :)
