Wily Wars repro help

Hello all,

I recently made my first Genesis repro, Mega Man: The Wily Wars. But I have an issue, it still plays like a PAL game, meaning it won't play on my Genesis, I have to use a Game Genie. Is there another way to make this repro where it will just work normally on my Genesis?

You should have used the SRAM hack instead. You can find the patch at romhacking.net, also be sure to use a cartridge with SRAM + battery.

You have to inject the gamegenie code into the rom.

How do I do that?

Don't try using a Game Genie code, Wily Wars has more complicated region protection than other games. The SRAM hack already patches the Euro ROM to USA region and 60hz speed.

Right. The common SRAM patch is not region free, it instead only works on USA consoles.
I don't know if there's an "unofficial" version for PAL or JPN owners.
