I heard we're getting a new prime minister
I think I know the perfect guy for the job.

Sorry I forget who that is, I haven't watched South Park in like 9 years. It was my least favourite out of rotten cartoons like Beavis N Butthead, Family Guy
Is anyone else seeing those "Stop Harper" stop signs around town? I saw like 5 while I was driving yesterday
eh
Hopefully ...
I read about this phenomenon in an article a news article. I have yet to come a Stop sign that includes the political sticker.
Anyways, it's just one indication as to how strongly people feel about his policies. Just yesterday he unnecessarily raises the spectre of discrimination by voicing his willingness to pass legislation banning Muslim face covering for anyone dealing with — or working for — the federal government. Why is this Prime Minister raising this issue during the election campaign? It's a statement meant to rile his support base. What I am happy to see is that "Progressive" Conservative personalities voice their disdain for his divisive politics and state unequivocally to Moderate Conservatives not to vote for Stephen Harper.
For those voters who want to oust this imbecile from power, they need to look at which opposition MP (either Liberal or NDP and in a minute case Bloc Quebecois or Green) is projected to win in their district and vote that MP into power. One can easily check the riding projections via this link: http://www.threehundredeight.com/p/canada.html
In my district, the Liberal MP is projected to win handily. And based on that piece of information, I am voting Liberal. If the NDP candidate was projected to win, I would have voted NDP.
Since we're discussing the federal election, tomorrow is the first day for advanced polling and I am casting my vote early. I can't wait!
If Harper is removed from office, I am literally going to celebrate with a bottle of Scotch and a giant piece of steak! I hope really hope that we see the NDP and the Liberals form a coalition to ensure the removal of some of the stupid policy decisions this nincompoop enacted.
If Harper is removed, I'm gonna celebrate with you guys, and with my local bros, everyone.
Do any of you guys live in the Maritimes? I'm curious about that place. I wanna move to a different province next year. Been in B.C. for 20+ years, its time for a change.
Looks like the strategic vote is slowly taking shape.Poll shows NDP’s Quebec lead evaporates as strategic voters switch to Trudeau & the Liberals:

Another thing that might impact the election ever so slightly is the youth vote.
=-=
I've yet to visit the Maritimes myself but I occasionally speak to people from that area of the country who tend to be alot most polite and friendly compared to your typical Torontonian!
I don't know about up there in lumberjack land,
but we frown on defacing vital traffic devices and I'd bet if it were happening here there would
be quite a few arrests and fights, maybe even a death or two.
I have nothing but good will towards your own wishes for your country,
they may not have thought that one out though.
I mean you pretty much have to look at it if it's on the stop sign,
so yeah it gets the word out, but if it's ok to do that then who else is gonna promote their
services on the road signs?
Yeah maybe they didn't do it themselves(the politician) and there are just a few radicals out there doing this,
but you can't deny they came up with the idea of the stop sign.
So they are to blame when your street signs become like car bumpers and your country goes broke cause you
spent all your money on gas and never got to work because the signs that led you there are now billboards.
Over here we prosecute vandals and with good reason.
If you think this is stupid what about the moron who runs the stop sign cause he isn't "Harper".
:p
All these Yankees are coming to my Canadian thread...
just kidding I love you guys.
The stop signs aren't the only thing. There people on Craigslists giving away free "Stop Harper" stuff of all kinds. Probably even cat collars.
I got my election card in the mail today. My whole family is gonna vote for the same person. I'm pretty sure.
Liberals now lead Conservatives by 6% according to yesterday's Nanos poll: LPC: 34.8%; CPC: 28.6%; NDP: 24.9%

Let's see if the pollsters get it right this election! :p Good news for Trudeau. Mulcair needs to pick it up. And Harper needs to continue to act like a buffoon! :p
I hear Trailer Park Boys is an accurate representation.Quote:

Yea I just got my cat a "Stop Harper" collar. It has the same colour scheme as a stop sign.
I like how that sounds. I root for Trudeau.
Actually, a polar bear is featured on every paper bill and coin, besides the $2 one.
