You may be right. It's not about spoilers per se. It's about the fact that I don't want to enter into a game I've been looking forward to for so long with somebody else's first impressions in the back of my mind. Every minute emotion that he experienced until now, I want to experience on my own.

...most other games, I would probably watch anyways. But games like these, I just want to experience on my own from scratch.

Btw, it's not that i think it's a bad thing or anything. It's just the way I personally want to approach going into a game I've been looking forward to for years.

I want to hear more thoughts on the new Zelda game if anyone has them.

5. I actually got my Switch for free! I pre-orderd 2 from Amazon and 2 from Best Buy. Sold two of the on ebay and one on Craig's List for $425.00 each. They actually sold in one day!! The one I kept ended up being free due to the profits from the other three.

It's a shame people will pay premium inflated above MSRP prices for a tablet system with just one AAA game, because I saw these two Switch consoles while shopping at Walmart today. A pity.........:p

The joycons (on the grip) are not what I consider garbage. I like them. Maybe off the grip would give me a different opinion but how I use them has not presented any complaints.

Zelda? Unbelievable game. On 3/1/17 I pre ordered the S.E. from Walmart and not a surprise, it oversold quantity. This morning in Target one was sitting behind the glass cabinet along with two pros and ZERO consoles. Now I am debating whether or not to open it.

Edit: A few neogeo titles hit the eShop today.

The issue from my point of view isn't scalping, it's how bad the North American supply chain seems to be. There's no real issues getting a Switch locally. Maybe they ship Switches in higher proportional numbers to Australia? :?

Everyone normal likes it.

On Zelda, without giving away any spoilers, I'd say it is everything I expected it to be. I'm playing it on the Wii U. The art style is nothing new, though. You have recent games like Aragami that look just as beautiful, if not more. But it's not a new Zelda game on a Nintendo console, so nobody cared. And the gameplay mechanics are nothing new either. I find the magic and beauty in the small details. It is a love letter to fans, as well as a worthy experience for newcomers. You just want to breathe it all in, no pun intended, and take your sweet ass time discovering evey nook and cranny in the open world, finding out what each gadget does, what their limits are, what neat things you can cook-up, etc. It's all about the subtleties in dialogue, gameplay and tone. Giving away what exactly I mean here would be a spoiler, IMO, so I won't say much on the subject.

I can say that I am really enjoying it. And, like every Zelda game I've played in the past, the fun just increases exponentially the more you play the game. Is it a 10/10? No. Is it fun and worth picking up? Yes. TBH, as much as I love Zelda, I hope the Nintendo hipster fanboy bias doesn't cloud the minds of every award entity out there and give a ubiquitous "Game of the Year" award. Because, I can asure you, this year alone (less than 2.5 months in), there have already been way better games released.

As for the new Star Wars films, I assume by "new" you guys are talking about Episode VII and Rogue One:

Episode VII: A rehashed piece of bland and uninspired shit.

Rogue One: A return to form.

Stuck pixels are pretty normal with LCDs, but they are a defect, especially numerous other annoyingly located ones. Sometimes you can bring them back to life by squishing the screen, but that's probably not the case with a touchscreen like the Switch.

Dock is torn down at about 4:45, looks like the board is just a few controllers, no co-processor or anything.

The motherboard is also surprisingly small.

Wonder if he'll make a portable out of it :D.

Yes, I find a certain appeal in Hitler and the mystique surrounding him. But then again, so do many others too, as his documentaries and ones on WWII seem to be very popular. So not really a great example on your part.

I even recall one interview with one German, that if he could travel back in that time knowing what he knows now, he still would act the same and fall under Hitlers spell, when explaining how charismatic Hitler was.

I'm getting this vibe that the Switch could become a powerhouse for exclusive, or at least definitive, physical (indie?) releases. All signs are pointing to it.

Has anyone played Blaster Master zero yet?

I think John Riggs did a review on it.

I'm interested in the switch, but not as it is yet. The price is way too high for what it is (at least 50€ come from supporting pointless gimmicks, like separate batteries in each joycon, well, the joycons in general), and the games are not worth it yet.

But I will get it eventually, the new Zelda seems really cool. For now, Horizon will do :)
