I agree. That's the one item I find way overpriced over the rest. The pro controller, I find it could go for $10 less, but I don't think it's hugely overpriced. TBH, the PS4 and Xbox One controllers went for $70. Even now they're still selling for $65 outside when they're not on sale. I guarantee those pro controllers will go down by the Holidays. Right on time when Nintendo starts selling Switch bundles. ;)
Reggie has already basically mentioned that the sole purpose of the dock is, indeed, so that the Switch doesn't fall forward and crack while you're playing it on your TV. He believes that, very soon, third party accessories will be released so that you won't need the dock; making it truly portable and much more dynamic. He also stated thay Nintendo prefers you use first party accessories so that you refrain from breaking your Switch.
