Nintendo purposely delayed the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild, because they wouldn't of had a system selling launch title for the Switch. The Wii U version just kind of creeped onto store shelves with very little fanfare, because all of the reviews were focused on the Switch version.Quote:

So when its docked, it runs at 900p vs 720p of portable and wiiu. Also in portable mode the frame rate is at its best. But even docked the fps is better on switch. The biggest example is this one village where basically the switch hangs on to 30fps, while wiiu basically always at 20fps.
