In this fashion, it is very much optimized on the Wii U. You don't get the same feel when you're playing it on the Switch. When docked, the Switch is no longer your slate. When in handheld form, the aided aiming motion controls are sill good, but you can't swing and twist your tablet upside down, sideways and what have you to make the best out of several of the shrine puzzles. Gameplay wise? I prefer the Wii U version via the Wii U GamePad.
