Journey and Ori & the Blind Forest both have the feeling of the old Zelda to me. Two amazing games that succeed in bringing back the mysterious fantasy setting that got lost over at Nintendo.

You should try this one. It controls like a beauty and is very comfortable.
Analog sticks on it have very little resistance a la PS3/X-Bone and sticks are too long. The extra resistance shorter sticks in the PS4/360 is much preffered for precision aiming. ie. I have and played Mass Effect 3 multiplayer for all platforms and gamepads (save for the X-Bone gamepad), and it's much harder to aim for headshots with the WiiU ProController & PS3 analog sticks VS PS4 & 360. When I seen that the PS4 gamepad analog sticks were much better then the PS3, I bought it just so I can finally play PS3 games with a proper analog stick, despite not having a PS4 yet. And before I found the PS4 gamepad, I've tried several other PS3 gamepads with poor results, sadly. Because I was so desperate to be rid of that terrible PS3 gamepad (it does nothing right).
The right analog stick being above on the WiiU ProController is total BS too.
Course the analog stick precision does not matter as much when playing games like Demon/Dark Souls. It only matter way more when precision aiming is required. So if you can't aim regardless. You'll never notice the issue.
I have it in my house. The problem is it doesn't have analog triggers. 1/4 of the games I play are racing games, so it'll never work out.
Nowadays, I think the only reason they did that was to avoid any trademarks. Thats all I can think of. No one is ever gonna get used to the analog stick being there.
I only enjoyed playing Link's Awakening. The rest of Zelda games bored me to tears.

EDIT:
Sonic Rush sold really well for a Sonic game yet its LTD worldwide isn't anywhere close to 5 million units.
It's a sad reflection of modern gaming that Link's Crossbow Training sold 6 million copies. :/ The only motivation for companies to make quality games is to sell less than cheap gimmick titles. Pokemon Snap and Stadiums were probably also big sellers.
heavens no, but if i wanted non-linear bullshit with even less replayability, i'd be a TES fan post Oblivion
ehh as a massive souls fan, i never get the analogy...people make it often, but if Souls is known for challenge, doesn't that pretty much only leave Zelda 2 on the table?
that dark aesthetic & risk/reward, i almost wish there were more Castlevania analogies.
man, that killed my momentum - used a guide and still hated those sections. couldn't even finish ST after that.
what's your CD-I situation like vamps
see that i could get down with
Those sale numbers reflect very poorly on WW and SS - which is unsurprising because they are the two most underwhelming mainline Zelda titles. If I were to hazard a guess, the amount of money that went into development for the two titles probably didn't reflect very well on the profit margin. Contrast this with titles made cheaply (e.g. the GB/GBC titles or the original Zelda) that likely far exceeded their profit-margin goals. /armchair economist
On ST:
It's easy to make jokes about how ST 'railroads' you in terms of game progression, but -no joke- it is one of the most abysmally lackluster and boring Zelda games I've ever finished. PH was bland and not too great, but the even lousier overworld (or lack thereof) and lame dungeons couldn't even make me enjoy the cutesy Princess Ghost Zelda junk. I never finished SS but it at least exhibited some imagination and scope.
Who even needs Nintendo, anymore?
