Perhaps he's like me, and not as much of a movie watcher. I still get the reference, but not because I wanted to see the movie myself. Also, I'm not sure Daria's gonna appreciate the sidetracking.
Haven't seen the vid, but when I first got into emulation, I had a playthrough of Spike McFang because it did seem interesting from what I caught in the magazine I had. Can't remember much of anything about it lately though.

Hey no worries - you can't like them all. Goonies was an odd choice just because it was done for a collaboration. You should really watch the movie though.
And yeah the rabbit scene was Quest for the Holy Grail - which you should also watch. XD
Edit: I also don't mind the side tracking. At least the thread was seeing some action.

Oh wait, I just watched the Quest for the Holy Grail movie for the first time like 4 days ago. My biggest laugh out loud moment was one during the Black Knight scene. I really liked that movie.

It's probably been a good decade since I've seen it - it's overdue for a rewatch.

Glad to see the discussion didn't spiral out of hand too much.
And I did look at the videos though, really good content and I had never even heard of Rhapsody or the Marl Kingdom games as a whole before the Girly Games video :D
Seemed like a really neat series and watching this review of it pretty much made me have to look up all the games in the series.

I never knew Drakkhen had a sequel. Is the first game really the worst SNES RPG? Anyway. The overworld exploring in Drakkhen 2 looks very awesome. Was also surprised to hear you ranking this game so high near the end of the video. So you really liked this game.

Game was just fun - beginning to end I wanted to keep going. And there's really nothing wrong with it - lacks in the story I guess but it's a gameplay driven game. Also Drakkhen apparently has some die hard supporters so I guess I nee dto give that one a fair run through sometime.
